Long Row
The Long Row was in fact a long row of Inn's and in earlier times many attempted to have a pint in each one on a Saturday night but no one made it all the way along.
(But none complained that they did not enjoy the attempt)
The CROSS on the map marks the site of the Malt Cross
one of the many ancient covered selling points associated
with market day.
